The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save maps of your home, set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are crucial for my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot cleaner robot vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic cleaner and mop vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
