Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle a variety of flooring. Find models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean up stairs.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets.
