The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've crafted. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
