Anna found it to be sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer support number in case you experience any issues.

In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a bedside crib that include the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help ease reflux or congestion in babies. It can also be washed in the machine - a must for all the dribbles and snot that come with a newborn baby!

The CoZee is a great option if you want to keep your child close during their first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it could be transformed into an actual cot. It will not feed your baby or magically make them sleep it will gently rock them to send them off!

This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. However, it comes with a lot of great features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is simple to use even with one hand. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be lowered and raised by pressing a button. This was a huge help during night time feeds because it meant they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your baby will get out of the cot.
